Delivery: Leachman will deliver to CO and adjoining states free of charge. Beyond this, charges will be based on mileage: 250-500 miles for $100, 501-1000 miles for $200 and 1001 miles and over at cost. Bulls may be left at LCoC from now until after the March sale for a board fee of $2.50 per day.

Welcome to the first Leachman Early Bird Bull Sale at Sale Day USA. After a small test run in December, we are convinced that selling bulls online is the future of seedstock marketing. This technology allows you to preview the bulls and study their data. You can bid manually or set up a set of preferences to bid by proxy. As the sale ends, you can see all of the bidding and know exactly what you have bought. It’s low pressure and it works!
Here is how it works: First you must register. Once registered, you can bid on any of the bulls at any time starting on February 1st. We will end the auction in “silent auction” type fashion. At 5 pm MST on Tuesday, February 7th, we will start a countdown. If no one bids for 10 minutes, then the auction is closed. If 
anyone bids, then the 10 minute count down starts again. This allows everyone to see the bidding and react without being squeezed for time.
To make an online bull sale work, we must ensure that you get the type and kind of bull that you want. With the video, EPD, and star scoring system, we feel that these bulls are better described than bulls from most other programs. Not only have we described traits like disposition, phenotype/kind, and calving ease, but we have also characterized these bulls for feed efficiency, feed intake, and profitability.
Here is a brief explanation of our unique Leachman EPD’s: A lower Feed:Gain EPD means the bull’s offspring will convert better. A lower Intake EPD means that the bull’s steer and heifer offspring will eat less – just think of the cow herd you could build. Finally, our $Profit™ EPD predicts the bull’s impact on your commercial operation. We have extensively tested our feed efficiency EPD and our $Profit™ and we know that they work in the real world. Bulls are more expensive than ever, so you need to make sure your bull buying dollar is well spent. That means getting a return on your investment. You want a bull that does what you expect and more.
